Homechoice Fradulent Account

home choice doesn't have security check in place, yesterday I found out that an account was opened on the 13th of August 2020 with my ID number. I called them and they promised to deactivate the debit order and redirect the placed order. I was given an email address to send an affidavit but the email address is not working. an order of R7000 was placed and payment via debit order. I don't understand how can a person open an account using someone's ID number and company like home choice doesn't pick it up, it must be an inside job.
