Home-Choice people are ****** stay away
So some time in April I asked for a call back regarding blankets, the lady called me to explain how it works, how much blankets are and to quote me. This lady a said I was provincially approved for credit and the final stage id for me to send them my supporting documents ID,Payslip and bank statements which I did not send because I had changed my mind.
Weeks later I decided to check out home-choice beds and inquire about the process, I went on my profile and saw I could only qualify for R 178 credit. They called me and asked me to send my payslip to check why my credit allowance is so little. Yesterday 17/05/2022 I get an email and sms saying amount die R287.60 by 31/05/2022. To my shock when I open the statement I owe home-choice R 3518.79 for blankets. I respond to email and tell them I did not receive no blankets Firstly I was never notified that I was approved for those blankets because I had never sent my supporting documents. 2 I requested the waybill to see where they delivered them and the person who signed for them because it was clearly not me. The is a procedure that needs to be followed, I never received no SMS/email to notify me of approval or delivery. Worst part is that address is even outdated I no longer reside in that complex/area.
To make it worse today, I went on clear score to check my score again to my surprise here is home choice added on my report. These people are ******,they told me to go to the SAPS station to get an affidavit which I refused to do because this is their fault how can they wanna inconvenience me over what they did. Eventually Danielle calls me from home-choice she send me a Dispute form and says he will escalate to the ***** department.
Its not he first time they do this to me, 2 years back it was curtains, this year its blankets. Please assist me with this
Thanks.
