HANDED OVER TO DEBT COLLECTION

I bought a bed (base) at homehoice and they delivered a broken bed. I called them to let them know and I asked them to come and collect the broken bed and bring me the new one and they said they'll send someone and they never did. I decided not to make payment up until the bring a new one of which they than decided to hand me over to debt collectors. I never received any statement but only an email showing the name of the debt collection agency I've been handed over to. I want homechoice to send someone to collect the damaged bed and bring me a new one than I can pay the account and mostly to remove me from the collection agency. This has created problems for my name.
