********** account and paying back money that was paid to them

In November I picked up that there was a ********** account opened on my name at homechoice during a loan consolidation. The bank paid the outstanding amount on the account. Since then Homechoice has rectified the ********** account but they are refusing to refund the amount to me that was paid on consolidation. They acknowledge that the credit is showing on my account that I never opened but they refuse to make the refund
