********** Account

Homechoice allowed someone to **********ly open an account in my name using my identity number. I am registered with TransUnion and never received notification of a credit enquiry which means a credit check was never done, neither was an employer verification done. In order for me to open a case with the police I need information regarding the account and they are unwilling to provide same. They have not been helpful other than telling me to send an affidavit. I intend lodging a formal complaint with the credit regulator for this. What proof of identity, proof of income, proof of employment, proof of address did you use?

Reviewer Update

Iam going to report this matter to the National Credit Regulator. Aside from one phone call, Home Choice has not told me what the status of their internal investigation is, if the account has been closed or anything of the sort. I have had enough!
