***** and Bad Service

I have received an sms from MBD saying that I am owing Homechoice about R4000 and I called Homechoice immediately thinking that maybe its a mistake and they even confirmed that I do have an account with them and its owing. I don't have any account with homechoice and I have never opened an account with homechoice, I have never even bought anything from Homechoice. So I need them to delete my name on that account before it aftects my credit record as they said they are going to blacklist my name. I called them and they told me that I need to go to the police station to do Affidavit explaining that i dont know this account and I did exactly that and send it to them. They told me that it will take 30 to 90 working days and I feel like it is not fair as I could be blackisted by then :(
