False advertising on website

If there was zero star rating I would give them zero. On their website they advertise 3x comforter sets and only deliver one. Upon calling and asking why I only received one they said that's how it is it's not the one which comes with 2more. I gave them the reference number for what I had clicked on and they admitted that marketing guys doing their website made a mistake. Natasha told me they are not like pick and pay which would just give you a product as advertised which I pointed out to her was not in line with the consumer protection act. Natasha told me that if I'm not satisfied I should return the product and I asked her about customer satisfaction which she didnt seem to care about. No one bothered to respond to my emails. I will never do business with Homechoice again as clearly they do not care about their customers.

Original Message: From: likwalethu Sent: 03 December 2018 09:44:05 AM To: ********** Subject: Order received complaint Good day I would like to lay a complaint with Home choice. I ordered the Annabelle comforter set according to your website as attached in the screen shot. According to what was advertised on your website it said I would receive 3 of those comforter sets. I only received one. Upon calling your call center to complain I spoke to Wenile on Friday who said that was what I was supposed to receive, and the onus was on me to prove that I was supposed to get more than that. I sent an email to home-choice as per her request and I still have not received a response. Today Monday the 3rd of December I spoke to Natasha who admitted that there was a mistake on your website. She said just send it back and Homechoice was not like Pick and Pay which would honour deals that were not advertised properly. According to Natasha I should just return it regardless of whether I wanted it then pays for shipping and time taken to return an item. She did not even try to resolve the issue. According to the consumer protection act, an item is sold as advertised. I'm genuinely disappointed in Home choice that you made a made a mistake on your website which is false advertising and none of the people I've spoken to are willing to honour what’s on your website. Clearly Homechoice does not care about customer satisfaction and retaining their existing client base. Can I be advised of the way forward with issue because I definitely do not want one set when I had ordered three sets. Regards Likwalethu Ncube

The resolution from Home choice for my dispute about false advertising is that they made a mistake with their marketing but I should have called them first before placing the order to verify that what they were saying is true that's according to Olwethu. I don't know they get their business ethics but it leaves a lot to be desired. The person who is supposed to be resolving the issue Olwethu is in summary telling me that its my problem I should have verified. I don't even understand how one company can have so many bad reviews. I'll never buy anything from Home-choice or recommend it to anyone, that's the kind of company that needs to be avoided.
