Enquiries done without consent

Am writing this review to find out why is homechoice doing enquiries on my behalf? Last time I bought something from Homechoice I bought it cash and they wanted my ID to do a cash transaction now this morning I get an email from clear score and find out that there was an enquiry done against me by homechoice. I need someone to explain this to me.
