Defy Stove

I cannot express my disappointment yet again with home choice, I bought a Defy 30L Oven Stove for my brother 5 months ago - and suddenly the top plates of the stove have decided not to turn on or heat up. The light showing that it has been turned on is there but the power or heat is not emitted. The oven works perfectly fine. As a result of this, I have resorted to ordering another stove for him because I know this one will either not be picked up or will be refused to pick up because it is no longer in its' box 5 months later.
