Debited twice even when account had been reported *****ulant.

At the end of July 2016, an unknown debit went off my Standard bank acc. The debit was returned unpaid as there were no funds in the account and at that stage, I was not expecting any debit to go off. The bank charged me a penalty fee and that is only when I realized that something was not right. Upon further investigation with the bank, it came to my knowledge that it was Homechoice's debit that was unpaid.

I have never in the past had a relationship with Homechoice, not a credit account or even a cash purchase in my name.

On the 09 August 2016, I spoke to a Homechoice consultant by the name of THEO GLABILE, who I explained this to and upon checking in the system, he found that there was a customer that used my details, however, the home address on the account was not mine. We agreed that this account was *****ulant and should be frozen, pending investigation. He then forwarded me Dispute Declaration Forms to complete and forward back to homechoice. The reference number for this conversation was given as ********** 68.

On the 11 of August 2016, I emailed these forms back to Homechoice, together with a copy of my ID as requested. I was assure by Theo that soon as this was done, I wont be seeing any debits going off my account in this accounts' name.

Today (31 August 2016), to my surprise, an amount of R934.20 has gone off my account. The reference for this transaction is as below:

NAEDO DEBIT HOMECHOICE

RID ********** **********

Amount: R934.20

This is after I was assured by Theo, the Homechoice consultant that the account would be frozen while an investigation ensued. If I had to go through the trouble of calling Homechoice, completing their Dispute Declaration forms and email back to them, why is it that an organization as big as Homechoice cannot stop an account that has been reported to be a *****, and investigate accordingly????????

I am completely annoyed by the type of assistance I am currently receiving from HOMECHOICE regarding this matter. I am dissapointed in Homechoice!!!
