Clear my name

I had an account with home Choice and was in arrears, until I received an email from NRB risk solution to settle my account and was assisted by the lady named Ronell Velloen and, I settled my account and even received a paid up letter on the 11 December 2019. Up to this date Home Choice has not cleared my name, I Enquired about this and what igot from them was a reference number and that they will get back to me Im still waiting. Now I'm getting calls from other debt collectors wanting more money from me. Please advise because now my life is at hold because of the account that was paid up.
