Bad ITC Record as result of HomeChoice failure to have proper measures to prevent *****
HomeChoice called me on the 17 January 2020 to ask if whether I have received the goods that I have ordered with from. I responded saying that I did not know of any goods that I expected from HomeChoice and I did not have an account with them. I then asked for the delivery address but the lady refused and dropped the call. I, therefore, lodged a complaint on their website indicating what was going. Their consultant sent me a dispute form/affidavit which I completed and sent back to them. from that time, HomeChoice never responded with any feedback unless when I asked for it. To my surprise, when I tried to apply for a Standard Bank home loan today, it was declined citing ITC issues. I then requested my ITC report which is where I realised that HomeChoice had put a bad record under my name. At this stage, I am therefore suffering losses because of their actions failing to confirm before registering someone under ITC. I have even started evaluating the options of a legal claim against HomeChoice for the losses and damage to my reputation. I want HomeChoice to voluntarily reimburse me for my losses on this or we rather go the courts for damage to my reputaion.
Please give us an opportunity to get to the bottom of what went wrong so that we can resolve this.

How do I give you an opportunity to waste my reputation and time once more after failing to verify for the entire 6 months after the account was opened if I was indeed the account holder or not? How am I then expected to give such an institution time to further go on and ***** my record? Is and was it difficult on your side to prove if I was the correct Vusi Mahlangu for that account or not? I wonder who used the guessing act to put the credit record against my name after you have failed to get hold of the right person who opened the account. Worst of all, you even went to deliver goods to his place but after failing to get hold of him, then you search for the one that you can black list. What kind of practice is that? I am quiet sure at this stage that this account wasn't **********ly opened but you as homechoice failed to get hold of the correct person who opened the account then you went searching for the possible suspect and you incorrectly painted that information on me. All the information that you have on your side about me is completely not mine except for what you found as the cell number, the name and ID number. This is why I said that this case has to contested in court for damage to reputation.
