Bad Client Service

I have a horrible experience with HomeChoice such that I will not advise anyone who does not have an account with them to have - DO NOT even think about it. It’s been over a month now that I ordered something online of which I eventually cancelled because I was told it went to a wrong address fortunately the person who signed for the goods called their call centre to have the goods collected from them. They were collected however my account status has not been updated since June the 10th it shows that the goods were delivered to me and worst part this has affected my credit score because it shows that I owe Homechoice while I did not receive the goods. HomeChoice is really bad when it comes to client service because I have sent two emails to their complaints department since Monday July the 19th and received an auto response that promised to respond in 24hrs but up to now I have not received any feedback. They don’t keep up their promises, I have reference numbers where I made countless number of calls but up to now I don’t have any constructive feedback.

Up to now since I made this review this reply here is the only thing I have got, no service recovery or whatever to date. Indeed Homechoice you are not committed to treating your clients fairly. This is very to a point of my account been debited for the things I have not received and for a service I have cancelled. You are busy messing up my credit record and I’m busy trying to apply for a home loan. Maybe I should contact the NCR or ombudsman with this issue.

My issue has finally been resolved.

Suggestion:
Review your delivery process, you can’t leave parcels at an address without verifying the rightful owner - the courier was really at fault here - who signed for the parcel? Did you confirm if the person who signs made an order, why was I not called for verification as to how I relate with the person signing.

From the side of customer care I had to be the one following up if I don’t call you don’t call or if I don’t request a call you don’t call - this was really frustrating cause up to now the emails are not responded
