Are Employees Trying To **** Customers?
Don't ever buy from Home Choice! I never really had an issue with them until now when I decided to pay my account off early and close it. I sent the proof of payment and emailed for the account closure and the woman helping me said they need to wait for the payment to reflect which was understandable. My debit order went off which resulted me in phoning them and asking about my payment reflecting and for the refund of my recent debit order. The consultant proceeded to tell me that I'll need to pay interest until January 2023 because my item was paid for before its time.
I was so confused because on my SOA, I'm charged interest as it is. I explained this to the lady but she gave me the same BS story. Eventually I had to phone again to confirm my payment and the consultant I spoke to said they'll proceed with account closure and there was no problem.
Then I got a new SOA saying I owe R12 at the end of March. I was advised to just speak to a manager the next time I phone but upon phoning, they have to request for the manager to phone you which can take up to 48hrs. I think it's ridiculous that the manager is not easily accessible especially during an urgent matter, and to wait for that amount of time and nothing happens can be frustrating.
I phoned this morning and I told the lady it's been 48hrs with no response from the manager so what do we do now? She refused to put me through until she knew what the issue was. I explained it all to her but she didn't even acknowledge the very concerning story I was giving her and just said she can help me with the problem and write off the R12.
