Wedding Registry Furniture

<p>Hi,</p> <p> </p> <p>We decided to have our wedding registry (gl ********** 3) with you and included on it the Wembley Chair ( ********** 0). As you are not allowed to purchase it online, a guest gave us the money to purchase it directly. At the time of our registry, the chair was advertised at R2800 and when we went to purchase the chair on the 26th of June after our honeymoon, the chair had gone up to R3400. Upon querying this, the staff very appologetically said that there was nothing they could do. I find it unacceptable that we had to put in R600 extra for our own wedding gift because you cannot purchase the chair online through the registry? Furthermore, we opted to collect the chair as we didnt want to pay the delivery cost on top of putting in extra. My wife phoned for the address and no one could tell her where the facotry was exactly as it was new, she was just told to drive down allandale towards midrand. Extremely frustrating end to what started as a happy process. This has nothing to do with the staff at the branch as they were extremely helpful and apologetic but I still refuse to accept we could not get the chair at the price advertised on the registry.</p>
