TERRIBLE QUALITY/BAD CUSTOMER CARE

I bought a fitted sheet from @Home many years ago, in fact I purchased two fitted sheets. They were quite expensive, one brown and one navy blue to go with my duvet covers and other pillow cases from Woolworths. They were purchased a few years apart. But needless to say, the same thing happened. Both fitted sheets came with pillow cases, miraculously the pillow cases are fine. But the fitted sheets are terrible! Firstly the brown sheet perished/developed holes. The sheets have basically gotten thinner. These sheets are supposed to be high quality cotton sheets. They were not over washed, in fact I have several sets of linen, so the sheets might only be washed may be 3-4 times a year, they are line dried, NOT ironed and were well looked after. When I returned the brown sheet, they very generously compensated me and they were very apologetic. I have linen that is much older, in poly cotton that are perfect! The response I have received from @Home about my navy blue sheet is none other than dismal. It’s disgusting. When told their homewares carry a 6 month warranty, I have to wonder?? Besides, we’re not talking about a kettle here! It’s linen, linen that when purcjaswd from a high end store and paying high end prices, you expect a an almost lifetime guarantee of usage out of said linen! I mean I have linen that is over 30 years old!! Still in good condition! Sorry @Home, NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Please read response from them below! 👇🏾

While linen longevity can vary depending on factors such as usage, washing methods, and environmental conditions, we agree that premium linen should last for many years under normal care. However these sheet were purchased a good 10 years ago, as our @home warranty on homewares items are 6 months. Please be advised, the Brand will not replace your sheet.
