Sold sub-standard to what’s displayed in store
<div>This store keeps selling us poor quality furniture & running with our money. I bought a bed for R8999 in the end of 2023, after making sure on numerous visits to the store that we had chosen a soft comfortable bed, the bed that was eventually delivered was so hard & uncomfortable. After 3 weeks the bed started dipping on my side & im experiencing back pain after back pain from sleeping on it every night, it is so hard & is now dipping so much on one side. The bed started making a noise in January. took pictures as requested and I sent to ***** asking how this is possible. They still have the same bed at MOA, & the softness of the bed displayed is completely different to what I collected - so I’m convinced this must be a ****. I tried to address the issue as soon as possible, & in Jan I was told a complaint was lodged for me & that an assessor would come. I have sent pictures, followed up without success, & I asked ****** why the bed I was given feels completely hard compared to what is displayed in store & he said their beds are like that, hard at first and slowly become soft, but that’s not the case for me because the bed is still hard but is dipping on one side: if feel like I’m sleeping on a string. It I now almost March & the ‘assessor’ has still not contacted me, & when I follow up & ask for a copy of the form****** completed with my complaint, I am now being ignored. This Is clearly a product failure & I think they want me to forget & walk away. Unfortunately I am the one who will have to live with a bed that’s more uncomfortable than my old bed, at the cost of R8999. My hard earned money down the drain & exacerbated back pains to get through every night. I’m so disappointed & have learnt my lesson that @home is not to be re**** on for real furniture. I will stick to candle holders & bathroom decor when it comes to them.</div>
