Shameful service performance
We dont often purchase from large chain stores in South Africa but there is one thing they all need to learn, fulfilment of purchases are key. When are these companies going to wake up and see that.
We placed an order on the @home website on the 17th for collection (tv stand) in a flat pack. The delivery time said 5 working days if they have to deliver it and we thought that it would be faster to collect instead...or so we thought. The collection time is the same as the delivery time even though I would have to collect and assemble which is now going to be the 21st, someone will call me to arrange a collection time.
Now I know the time frame from writing this is still relatively early but honestly, what systems are @home using that it takes this long to process. 5 days to pick an item in a warehouse and invoice, please enlighten me why? What possible reason could you have to take 5 days to pick an item? How antiquated are your systems?
Please feel free to contact me for assistance in this regard, it's time to go digital guys. Don't even get me started on your website, my child could develop a better UI.
Look at your average on hellopeter, when are you going to take your customers seriously? Time to look at those execs on the payroll that are responsible for these systems, this is your performance KPI right here. 2 star average, come now.
