Refusing to take back an item

I purchased a canvas from your Clearwater branch last Sun , and after looking it decided I didn't want it , I went to your Randridge brach on Sat aft to return it and as I walked in I could see the reaction , I was told I could not return the item there as only the large stores who sell furn could take the item back , I said to them I was told I could return to any @ home , I can understand furn could only be ret to a large store , but a canvas ?
