No Discount Offered to Regular Customers If you not willing to give your personal info

I spent R6 800,00 on bedding today at Canal Walk branch and was offered no discount. Apparently discounts are now exclusive to only members. I was offered a membership but I am not willing to divulge my personal information. In past, retailers used to bombard one with spam in emails, text messages and even calls from various telesales marketing people. I think it is ridiculous that regular customers are now being discriminated against by not quality for a discount if you not willing to provide your personal information. I future, I will spend my money at other retailers who offer regular customers discounts without the need to join some loyalty programme.
