Incorrect pricing and false advertising

At this stage - I would like to say please check my ID number for a full history of the R1000s we have spent in your store, and these do not include cash purchases which we have purchased 5 x dining chairs, additional tables and lighting etc over the last year!! We purchased 2 chairs in store yesterday (cash purchase!) - The price reflected on the chair was R2699 - there is no mention that the chair was already marked down and that in actuality it was only 10% of the already marked down price. To a customer - to me, there is no advertising of a marked down price! I understood the advertising at R600 off R2699! This is exceptionally bad advertising and I mentioned this to the manager who agreed with us but didn't offer to resolve the issue. She said she would speak to head office to alert them but somehow I feel like it was a pacifier comment. In any event, my husband returned yesterday to purchase the chair at now only 10% off. 10% of 2 699 = R2 430 a chair, this is not what we paid. We paid R5498 in total. R400 was delivery making the chair costs R5098 each chair tthen costed R2549!! This is ******* of more than R100 a chair!
