Good Customer Service

<p>Good customer service is hardly acknowledged. I have a feel-good story to share.</p> <p>I bought a Breville Cold Fountain in April at the Vaal Mall branch of @home. All went well until lat night. While juicing (I use the item daily) I heard a loud noise coming from the machine. Upon closer examination it became clear the shute feeding the veggies into the juice extractor had broken.</p> <p>Being prepared for a few arguments of note I set off to the store this morning to have it replaced. Initially the store agreed to order the broken part and let me know when it arrives. Too bad I won't be able to juice for probably a few weeks.</p> <p>I was off to a coffee shop for a breather, and big was my surprise to get phone call a few minutes later from Bongile at the store to advise they will let me have the part from one of their new machines to save me the wait. Boy was I delighted!!</p> <p>When I dropped by a few minutes later it got even better when Bongile decided to just do an exchange if the complete machine just in case the problem could have been caused by some problem with the rest of the machine. She was speedily assisted by the cashier who helped me in a similar friendly manner.</p> <p>Thank you @home Vaal Mall, and your friendly and competent staff, you will certainly see me again.</p> <p>Dirk Grobler<br />Vanderbijlpark</p>
