Complaint about MIDI HOME at East Rand Mall

I am writing to you because I've been unable to find a formal way to lodge a complaint against the store MIDI HOME at East Rand Mall. They are not registered as a business on South African business directories, nor do they have a public email address. I'm hoping you can assist me with this matter.

Here are the details of my complaint:

I purchased a lock from this store that was too small for my needs. When I attempted to return it, the store refused to give me a refund. Their reason was that I had opened the packaging. However, their own receipt states that customers can return goods within 7 days, as long as they have the original packaging. I believe this policy is misleading, as it's impossible to know if a product is suitable without opening it. I would be very grateful if you could contact the store on my behalf to find a solution. I'm hoping to either receive a refund or exchange the item for something else of the same value. Thank you for your time and assistance.
