Breville Servicing Disaster
I two days ago picked up my Breville coffee machine that has been in for fixing since December. I know we have had two months of lock down and I had been told that parts needed to come from overseas, so i wasnt to upset that it was taking a long time. The staff at @Home in Bloemfontien have been very good at phoning me every once in a while and letting me know my machines progress. So after picking it up finally, paying R1500, I was looking forward to good coffee, only to find the machine was no better than before it was sent off. while at the shop i did have a look at the service sheet to see what had been done to my machine. New Pump, service, descaled and one or two other things. I first noticed that the Tamper was missing, I could live with that, then the machine was not working well at all. I decided to open up and have a look inside as steam was coming out in places that it shouldn't. Serviced my ass, steam coming out of one of the joints and spraying boiling water all over the internals, and as for the new pump, same old pump inside. I can't believe it, serviced and tested total *******. Now I wonder if the machine was even opened up This service it shocking
