Breville Sandwich maker 4 slice Original

I bought the Breville 4 Slice sandwich maker Original from @Home, after reading multiple reviews about how brilliant the brand was and what great quality the products were! I decided to make my purchase.<br> <br> Even though it was 3 times more expensive than any other brand here I bought it as a Christmas gift for my Fianc? as he loves toasted sandwiches. After using it three times and failing three times I refuse to use it. Not only have we followed the exact instructions on the manual about buttering each side of the bread etc we have added an unhealthy amount extra to the machine in an attempt to actually be able to eat our sandwich! Without fail we get mashed up bread as it gets stuck to the Breville Sandwich maker. <br> <br> I then asked one of the shop assistance if we had an issue with the product could we get a replacement/ refund. And the I got a rude response explaining that @Home isn't liable \if you don't like the product"??? It does not work like it says it does? How is that at all looking out for the consumers best interest? I actually have no clue what to do.<br> <br> Please can someone assist me in getting in contact with a rep of some sort to sort this out.<br> <br> Regards"
