Bad & disappointing Quality
I bought a couch valued at R15 000.00 in November 2016, which was delivered in December 2016. With the special that was running at the time the couch was temporarily marked down and I ended up paying 11 thousand/+ for it in that window period. The so called leather couch is now peeling everywhere. It is practically useless and I am watching my money go down the drain. While it might seem petty to bring this up 4 years later; the reality is that 11k is not little money and surely this product should be lasting longer than this. This not only makes me question the quality of this particular item but of everything you guys sell under your brand as it is evident that while the price tag is high we're being sold poor, non durable goods at a high cost which is a reap off for consumers. Who then takes accountability for such goods? Had I paid way less for this item, I wouldn't even be complaining as this would have been an expectation. However, having paid so much, I honestly find this appalling and infuriating. Don't just have shiny, glittery, glamourous stores, with highly priced products... It is your responsibility to ensure that the quality of those products matches the worth placed on them otherwise it is pure ******* that ought to be reported to The Office of the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO). I am sitting here reading complaints about other people who bought a couch for 18k and thinking I wonder if they know that it will peel in 4 years as well. With a high price tag, comes higher quality and better durability; this is not rocket science.
