Appalling customer return policy

<p><br />I just stopped by an @home store to return an unwanted dish that was given as a Christmas gift. The plate is brand new with the barcoded price tag from @home on the bottom as well as the@home branded signage. I was informed that gifts cannot be exchanged without a reciept. I don't understand the logic of this since it is a clearly marked at home product with a valid code on it. There is absolutely no reason why it should not be possible to exchange.I was very disappointed at this policy as I frequently buy gifts for people in the store and I was not aware that they had such a rigid and unreasonable policy on these matters.</p>
