My Experience with a Bathroom Renovation Company

I am sharing my experience with this bathroom renovation project to provide an accurate account of what occurred.

Before the work began, I showed the owner examples of the bathroom design and explained what I wanted. I understood that the completed bathroom would reflect those requirements. However, the finished work did not match my expectations or the examples I provided.

The project continued for approximately three weeks. During that period, I observed unfinished work, ongoing issues and changes in the workers assigned to the project. Workers came and went on several occasions, which affected the continuity of the work from my perspective.

I was asked to pay 80% upfront and paid R14,200. I made this payment expecting the work to be completed in accordance with what had been discussed.

The bathroom was not completed to my satisfaction. I was also told that I could arrange for someone else to complete the remaining work. As I had already paid the company for the renovation, I was concerned about being asked to arrange and potentially pay another person to finish the project.

I expected to receive the relevant completion or compliance documentation for the work. At the time of writing this review, I have concerns about whether all required documentation will be provided.

My opinions about the service are based on the length of the project, the unfinished work, the changes in workers, the amount paid and the current state of the bathroom. I am sharing this review so that prospective customers can ask detailed questions about payment terms, project timelines, completion standards and required documentation before starting similar work.
