Avoid at all costs
If I could give this company zero stars I would. Buying a first house should have been a great experience but instead I'm left with a damp nightmare of a property. Please do yourself a favour and get an engineers report for your house before buying with HGRL, or avoid using them altogether. The agent literally watched water running down both sides of my garage two weeks after I purchased the property and told me it was a new issue and the seller didn't have any prior knowledge about the issue. I have plaster on the inside of my external walls that is basically rotting and falling off due to the damp from outside making its way in. Every single property in the complex has damp issues, but it's clearly not a problem to lie to get the sale concluded so they can be paid their commission. The principal of the company is not interested in any way to even look at the issue. Avoid at all costs otherwise you will end up with many issues that were not disclosed in the sale of the house. Even though there was an electrical COC, upon flicking one of the light switches a giant spark jumped out of the socket. This was brought to the agents attention and he made no effort to resolve this.
