Hemingway's branch - train your staff!
Where is the minus star? I had an horrific encounter with Yolande at the Hemingway's branch last June and was promised a written apology which has not happened. I had popped in to look at pots and on leaving I was on my phone in the corridor outside the shop when a very scruffily dressed woman tapped me on my shoulder and loudly asked me "What did you take?" (we had masks on - but she was right up close to me - no social distancing!) I asked her what she was talking about and she insisted I follow her into the back of the shop - I think I was in shock because I followed her and had to empty my (tiny) handbag and pull up my top! When there was no pot to be found she then walked off - no apology NOTHING! The owner (from PE) promised a written apology would be sent - but nothing has happened. The staff need to dress properly and wear a nametag. Did I mention there was no hand sanitiser or Covid protocol either. Will never step foot in there again obviously !
