HOMEDEPO BUILDING MATERIAL STORE – PEDDIE, EASTERN CAPE

In October 2024 I Nyameko Ngcolomba from Mphekweni Location app**** for a building material credit from HOMEDEPO STORE IN PEDDIE EASTERN CAPE advert. Application was successfully for maximum amount of R45 000 that was paid to HOMEDEPO account. I wanted 50% amount for building material and 50% in cash to pay my brick layer and that was denied and was told to take building material with all the 45 000 amount.

At the beginning of January 2025 I did the quotation of 45 000 got assisted by Nosipho Williams a HOMEDEPO employee. They delivered the material of only 22 505.38 and said they are out of stock, other material is coming. We told Nosipho and HOMEDEPO staff via WhatsApp that some of the material that was delivered is wrong. They delivered ( 3.6 X 31 Rafters) instead of (4.8 X 31 Rafters) and Nosipho mentioned that they will take them back when delivering the 2nd batch of the material, she mixed my quotes with one for another person.

We waited for the material and we kept on reminding them (Nosipho & Staff) each and every day, they did not deliver until end of January, Nosipho would say weather is Bad, there is no available truck, no driver or bakkie need to be fixed.

I found out from a store manager on the 14 February 2025 that Nosipho has committed a ***** on my account. She stole the outstanding balance of money from my credit. The store manager asked me to wait until the end of their investigation.

We want HOMEDEPO to take back the wrong material that was delivered ( 3.6 X 31 Rafters) and deliver all the outstanding material. I am still paying instalment for credit of 45 000 credit each and every month . The cement they delivered is getting damaged, is getting thick and my Brick Layer has been waiting long enough to start building.
