Unhygienic Food at Hollywood Bunny Bar Springfield

I went into the Hollywood Bunny Bar at Springfield this morning with my family and ordered 3 breakfasts. 1 mutton option and 2 pork options. As my 12 year old son was eating, he found a hair in the food about 2 inches in length. I called a lady from the establishment and she came to the table and made it feel as if it was totally normal for food to have hair in it. And when she saw that I was angry as my son had just began eating and stopped upon finding the hair, she took the plate with the food away. She returned a while later telling me that everyone in the kitchen have hair nets on and it cannot be them. She then runs her hands through my son hair suggesting it was his hair. Due the school holidays, my son's hair is about 6 inches in length and not as course as the hair in the food. She was actually insistantly suggesting it was his hair, until I stopped her and told her that the hair was so course, it looks like a strand of a weave. She then disappeared for a while, came back and asked me if I want a refund to which I responded yes. She asked me for my slip and asked me to fill out my details. My wife filled her details and handed it to the lady who in the interem was discussing us with her colleagues in Zulu and they were looking at us as if we were supposed to accept what had happened with their comments in Zulu directed at us. My wife and I stopped Ed eating, including another Indian man seating on his own and he actually left his food when he saw and heard what was happening and the behavior of the staff. From the 3 meals, I was refunded R70 for my son's meal and we left without even a senior member coming to enquire what had happened. The staff are wearing hair nets, however they need to be taught the correct way to wear them in a environment that serves food. These hair nets are not supposed to worn as a fashion statement, but to prevent incidents like what I experience with my son's food. Management need to play an active role like any food outlet in cases like this. From my experience with the food this morning and the negativity from the staff, I would definitely not be going back to any of the Hollywood food outlets and would not recommend it to anyone. I would ask anyone to please check your food before eating it for any other strands of weaves or other foreign stuff in your food.
