no electricity. no warning. no backup power.

We stayed at the hotel and there was loadshedding. No one informed us at the time of booking nor check in that there was no backup facility had I been aware of this I would not have booked to stay at the hotel. The electricity went off and we had to contact reception an hour after having no power to find out if we could at least get a candle. The front desk informed us that someone was handing the lights out however this took very long and is not acceptable. I travelled with a person who has a heart condition and the anxiety caused was not necessary.
