lights out no backup

I am extremely disappointed. I came to jhb for an assessment now i can not even study cos its very dark. There's no back up lights in the hotel. I'm scared to even go outside the foyer is very dark and it doesn't look safe at all. This is ridiculous. All big companies at least have backup for lighting. I do not feel safe at all. How arr people expected to prepare for business meetings in this darkness?
