Hogshead Douglasdale

We were a bunch of friends that went for pizza just down the street from Hogshead Douglasdale and wanted to grab a quick drink after it at Hogshead on Mon-night 06/11/2017. We arrived there about just before 22:00 and was told we can not come in due to one friends pants being to short and the fact that I was wearing a vest seeing that we are in the middle of a heat wave. I had a similar incident in March after the Daredevil run for cancer we wanted to come for a drink , but was told again that our clothing wasn't suited for this venue, it was a Friday and it was busy and someone was performing there so I could understand it in a way and luckily had extra clothes in the car and went to change, but again the door man as last night was very rude and also told us we are anyway closing and at the entrance your operating hours clearly stipulates 10am to 2am. Taking into consideration that the one friend of us only drinks of the best Whisky and that a few drinks with him normally lifts the bill to R1000 plus, so if this is the type of service you give and this is the way you want to chase your clientele away, go ahead by all means, as I would never ever put my food there nor refer anyone to you. The Hogshead at Mall@reds is of the best standard and has friendly staff and I'll rather travel to there than support Hogshead Douglasdale ever again.
