CARD CLONING- 23 March 2018.

on Friday afternoon, we enjoyed a lunch and drink at Hogshead Illovo (3 ppl) and we split the bills affording to our meals. 2 of us swiped our cards and 1 paid cash. That was the last place I used my card.

When I got home I recieved an notification that a large money had gone from my account from a place I dont know. I immediately temp blocked my account and called the ***** department (card had been cloned). They canceled my card and ordered me a new one. I have had no money since Friday night since the incident happened and had to drive into work to print and scan in ***** documents and I had to borrow money. I also notified the guy with us of this since he paid there with his card too and he immediately cancelled his cards too . It was not even 10min after he cancelled his card, that he tecieved a notification of decline transactions on his phone of someone trying to do *****. I received today a notification that the money will be reversed and that my new card will be delivered tomorrow. Please beware of hogshead Illovo as there is staff members cloning cards. I did go in to report the incident today but they still have to look into it!! So go with cash rather. Not Happy! Had completely inconvieneced me. Have had no money, had to borrow money and had to drive all the way to work on a Saturday morning just to sign ***** docs.!! Beware beware beware!
