Defective product

greetings guys

your assistance is request in finding a favorable solution on my problem.

on the 25/06/2018 I bought a fridge for R7000 Hofmann's Zervas Plex Trading CC.

my problem regarding the fridge are the following:

1.The fridges was bubble wrapped, meaning it wasn't a new product. 2.Bottom freezer door is defected in that it doesn't close properly and it moves around. 3.Water dispenser leaks, it's not working. 4.I called the said company to complain about their defective product and I specifically wanted my money back,and they seem to think they'll send their technician to fix it and I'm not interested in fixing a supposedly new product but I'm interested in getting my money back so I can go buy a brand new fridge.

My rights as a consumer were abused by these people in the following:

1.right to choose or examine goods even after purchase and delivery.(they tried to avoid responsibility by arguing time frame in reporting the problems with the fridge)

2.right to refuse items that were on display and request unopened new goods.(not a brand new item and was bubble wrapped when delivered)

3.right to purchase products of good quality & safe working condition,free of defects. 4.right to return goods within a period of 6months at the expense of the supplier and supplier is obligated to refund, replace or repair.

my consumer rights are being trampled on but ************ dealers, please help.
