HOFBRO AUTO BODY IS THE PITS!
Took my car to Hofbro to get hail damage fixed as per instruction from Discovery. I am greatly disappointed by their service.
1. They send you progress updates which are a lie. 2. They ********** the vehicle paint protection from my car without consulting me or Discovery and now am sitting with a bill of R14 400.00 to have it replaced. I was informed by the Discovery assessor at the beginning that the panelbeater will not interfere with the paint protection. 3. My vehicle has come back with terrible scratches in places that were never scratched.
If your vehicle insurance approves your claim and tells you to take your car to Hofbro, please refuse flatly. They are the pits.

Unfortunately with regards the paint protection (VPS) you were made aware during your visit to our premises that we have no choice but to remove the VPS in order to carry out the necessary paint work. It is unfortunately that you did not take out cover for this on your insurance policy of which the onus falls directly on the client in this regard.
