INEQUALITY IN OUR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM. Hoerskool kathu in northern cape rights of admission for pupils are reserved.pupils from official languages such as zulu,tswana,pedi etc are not welcome at that school.their reasons are that its difficult and impossible to teach pupils in english or their home languages.i thought english was an international language,but in this school Afrikaans seems to be the international language.i dont know how they teach english in afrikaans.Our educational system is failing our children because as we speak they are not in school.I was taught that education is key to succeed.but whats happening at this school seems for me you will only succeed if you were privileged to speak and understand afrikaans only.Relevant departments such as department of education and mr president (Cyril Ramaphosa)please intervene as i foresee inequality and being dragged back to apartheid times.thank you.
