Space for grade 9

I called the school on the 26th January to ask if they have a space for grade 9 , they said I must come to school and collect the application form indeed I went and collect the form, the person attended me said I must bring it the next day and I will have to speak to the HOD, the next day when I return the form I was told that they are in a meeting and I asked must I wait they said no they don’t know when is the meeting going to end they are going to call me, the day passed no call I went again the following day they said they already knocked off they are going to call me , on the 29th they called and said the school is full they will put my child on a waiting list I asked so when must I check the process of the waiting list the lady that called me said she doesn’t have an idea, then I went back again on the 2nd Feb to check and ask for the waiting list number they searched for the form till they get it meaning they didn’t even look at the application after a while I was given the waiting list number but I asked them must I have hope for the space the lady told me that they are full and have learners that have failed that are repeating the grade, I told her that I’m applying for the English class that started in 2020 she said yes it’s full I said okay but I was not satisfied because the English class of 2020 was the first English class so the grade 9’s will be the first ones for English where are the failures coming from and other parents are homeschooling their kids because of the pandemic and they will continue with the homeschooling even this year so the statement that the school is full is fallacy so don’t know the reason behind it and I’m staying in the area
