Defective Renovations and Painting work by HMC Works

In September 2025, I contracted HMC Works to carry out renovations at my home, including repairing cracks, damp proofing, plastering, and painting. Shortly after the first rainfall, the walls showed visible marks in all the areas where maintenance had been performed.

The paint manufacturer inspected the issue in November 2025 and advised a waiting period. In all my previous experiences with maintenance and painting, I have never been required to wait for a “dry period” of this nature. The manufacturer also requested proof of purchase for the paint supp**** by HMC Works; however, despite repeated follow‑ups, HMC Works has not provided this documentation to date.

Furthermore, I have received no communication, updates, or proposed plan of action from HMC Works regarding the rectification of the poor workmanship.

As a result, it now appears that I will have to hire another company—at my own cost—to repair the substandard work carried out by HMC Works.
