No Assistance whatsoever and poor security

<p>Yesterday between 18:30 and 19:30 I was pick-pocketed inside the store and my phone was ******. Unaware, ofcourse, while I was shopping for an outfit and gifts for an event I am attending today. When I was about to go and pay and wanted to call my colleague withwhom I had come to the mall with, I realised my phone wasnt in my bag. I quickly rushed to a male security guard who was on the floor at the moment and told him what had happened. I remember being squashed by this cuple while we were all looking for items on the same shopping rail and I didnt pay much mind to it because I didnt notice anything and I verbalised to the lady that they are squashing me, to which they made room for me to move to another rail. After communicating this to the security guard, he asked me if I had lost my phone delibarately or if it was ******. I was in shock!! IHow can a person give away their phone delibarately??!!!I also asked if it was possible to see the video footage of what transpired, to which he responded, and I quote, "We will not stop our footage for one minor event". I then asked to speak to his supervisor to which he said he was the supervisor. I asked to speak to the store manager because maybe they wouldnt insult me. He didnt apologise or anything but took me to a room that is close to the fitting room. I was instructed to stand outside while he went to fetch a lady, who had no name tag and didnt introduce herself. She has rusty-coloured braids and she also said I should wait outside while she goes to view the footage after she had asked which part of the store I recall the incident happening in. In less than 5min she was back, and this is the funny part, She tells me that the area I was in appeared blank on the screen because appareantly it is a blind spot for the camera....LIKE REALLY?????. She furher came with some form, saying she would like to take down my contact details "incase something comes up". I was hurt really.</p> <p>Whats the point of having security guards in fancy uniform if they will treat you like the random guy in a ****a shop? Whats the point of havinf cctv in your store if it doesnt even have full view of the whole store. The service was bad and the uneagureness to assist was even worse.</p> <p>H&M in Mall of Africa is poorly managed in terms of client saftey and client service.</p>
