humiliation and totally disgusting service at gateway

my daughter received a jacket from h and m as a birthday gift and it was small. i took it to the GATEWAY store on Sunday the 27/6/2021 as it still had the tags on and asked if we could return it. the cashier said i need to provide the details of which store it was purchased, the total amount spent and the time and date it had been purchased. i called and got all of the requested information and she wrote it down and the lady handed the information to another staff member and asked me to get the size that i required in the meantime . i waited for almost an hour and went back to the till with the jacket we had found from upstairs in the correct size (identical to the one that we needed to exchange to make the swop)- she then told me that the gentleman went upstairs to print the receipt so i must continue to wait , he then came down to the till where i was waiting with my daughter and he said he cannot help me, he put same the jacket back that i came into the store with into the bag, took the correct size jacket away and passed the bag to me to leave the store. the cashier who initially told me that he went to get the receipt pretended like she couldn't hear anything even though we were right in front of her and by now, even the customers around us could see that i was upset ) i called out to her - and asked her what had happened. they then told me that they cannot find the receipt. i asked the gentleman to call the store manager, he picked up the phone and pretended to call a manager and after me explaining to him how upset i was about them wasting my time - i then asked him where is the manager that he had been calling- he then points to the lady next to him) and says "this is the manager" i was shocked !!!- (she had been standing there all along right in front of me!!) i couldn't believe that she stood next to him listened to me and said absolutely nothing. i spoke to her and asked her about ignoring me all along - but she continued to ignore me and remained silent- I was then handed the bag again he told me thank you and i walked out of that store absolutely humiliated and disappointed with my teenage daughter feeling embarrassed as well. I even spent my own money at the store (i bought hair accessories and leggings for my daughter). i am still sitting at home- with the incorrect jacket in the bag in my home which my child cannot use - the experience was horrific and i cannot believe that these people are employed at the store- they do not pay any attention to what you're saying to them but i was given the indication that they just wanted me to leave and one of the highlights was the guy handed me the bag eventually again and said "thank you" very loudly and i was just totally shocked, humiliated, unhappy, disgusted with that type of treatment from such a large store, nothing i said had helped and i wasn't going to allow my day with my child to get even worse than this - the cashier who failed me was at till 14 time: 12:49 ( salesman code 161397) i have a receipt for my cash purchase from her and the gentleman who was absolutely shocking and disgusting was at till 3 or 8 (receipt not clear) at time 13:17 (salesman code 160482)- i made 2 cash purchases at the store whilst waiting to be assisted only to be refused of even any decent or proper kind of interaction- if they needed the receipt and initially explained that they cannot help me i would have accepted and understood but this was downright humiliating and disgusting-
