Poor customer service

Visited the branch yesterday the cashier informed me that the free deals had started back on Tuesday,I told her I did make purchases on Tuesday and didn't get any free deals she informed me to bring my slip and purchases they will give me my free deals I visit the store today the manager inform that the free deals was only loaded on Thursday there was miscommunication between staff and management.i am a regular shopper at HM galleria shouldn't management considered that the staff have misinformed me and return my transaction and refunded with my free deals .I would like to see in writing the rule that states non returnable when their are free deals.
