Worst Smart TV Experience – Stay Away from Hisense with Vidaa OS!
Absolutely the worst smart TV experience I’ve ever had. I regret every cent spent on this Hisense TV with the ********** Vidaa operating system. The app store is beyond limited — you’re stuck with a handful of useless apps that no one actually wants, and to make matters worse, you can’t even sideload the apps you do want. In 2025, this is unacceptable.
Not everyone is a tech wizard. Most consumers just want to plug in their TV and enjoy their favorite streaming services — but with Vidaa, you’re completely locked into their outdated, restrictive ecosystem. No flexibility, no freedom, and absolutely no value for money.
This might be sold as a “smart” TV, but there’s nothing smart about it. Compared to other operating systems like Android TV, webOS, or even Roku, Vidaa is laughably bad. Hisense really needs to rethink what they’re pushing onto consumers.
Save your money. Avoid Hisense and Vidaa at all costs. Worst purchase I’ve made in years.

Unfortunately, this is exactly where my frustration lies. The restrictions on app availability and the limitations of the built-in browser severely affect the overall user experience. When compared to other TV brands that offer far more flexibility and functionality at similar price points, the Hisense Vidaa system falls short — and it’s hard to justify the investment.
Also, while you mention apps like Spotify being available, I am unable to stream them due to the very limitations of the system and the poor browser functionality. It’s disappointing that the app store isn’t regularly updated to reflect the actual needs and wants of your customers.
At this point, I honestly cannot recommend Hisense Vidaa TVs to anyone. I’m very disappointed.
