Washing Machine servicing - waiting over 3 weeks for parts?!
I bought a washing machine in July 2017. Since then it has been a mission to use and often gives an error code. The manual is not too helpful and I had to phone the service centre to explain how to fix the error codes. In this instance the call centre consultants (on two different occasions) were helpful......still, one doesn't expect to have to be fixing so many error codes on a new machine. Around late November 2017 the soap drawer got stuck and in trying to get it out, it broke. The external parts are plastic and break easily. In December 2017, it stopped working. I was told by the repair person who came to pick it up that the bearings on the drum needed replacement and as the machine is under warranty it was taken in for repairs. It has been with the repair-team for approximately a month now (today is the 25th January 2018) and if contacting the service centre or repair team they tell you they are still waiting for spares......how is this possible? It also takes great patience and time to get through to the call centre and your call gets cut off if if you stay on the phone too long ( - as asked by the consultant to wait, while they check up on your job.) OR you get past onto the repair people directly, who tell you to log your query with the call centre..... I have had enough and want my money back and I want to buy another make of washing machine.
