Useless

My experience with Hisense has been nothing short of infuriating. I expected better from a major brand, but the customer service I’ve experienced is honestly one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with.

Hisense assigned Eletracorp to repair my front-loader washing machine, and for over a month, I have been left with no washing machine, no updates, and no accountability from either side. Every time I contact Hisense, I’m told someone will call me back—whether it’s their agents or their so-called “escalation team”—but not one single promised call has ever been returned.

Hisense’s complete lack of follow-through has caused massive inconvenience and unnecessary expenses, as I’ve had to pay for laundry services for weeks. The fact that no one at Hisense seems to care or take responsibility is incredibly disappointing for a brand that markets itself as customer-focused.

It is unacceptable that a company of this size cannot manage its own service providers, cannot honor simple commitments, and cannot provide basic customer communication.

Unless Hisense seriously improves its customer service and oversight of its repair partners, I cannot recommend this brand to anyone. This experience has been a complete nightmare.

Reviewer Update
I am writing once again out of absolute frustration and disbelief at the ongoing nightmare I have endured with my Hisense washer/dryer. Since my initial complaint, the situation has not only failed to improve—it has become significantly worse. Every time this machine returns from repair, it comes back in a worse condition than before. This is completely unacceptable for a product that is less than two years old and was purchased as a top-of-the-range appliance. I paid R10,999, almost double the price of an average washing machine, specifically to avoid exactly this kind of experience. Instead, I have received nothing but stress, inconvenience, and ongoing faults that make the machine practically unusable. At this point, it seems as though every major component of the machine has been replaced or repaired, and now the electrical board has completely died. This strongly suggests that I was essentially sold a refurbished or defective unit disguised as new. A premium machine should not be falling apart piece by piece within such a short period of ownership. To make matters worse, I have been without a working washing machine since October, but only have repeated repairs, delays. I previously owned a Samsung machine for 10 years without a single issue, and I genuinely thought purchasing this Hisense model was an upgrade. Instead, it has been nothing but a costly burden. At this stage, I am no longer interested in any further repairs or excuses. I am formally requesting a full refund for the unit. I refuse to continue struggling with what has clearly become a “fixer-upper” rather than the premium machine I paid for. Furthermore, I expect clarification on who will be compensating me for the ongoing laundry expenses I have had to cover for months while your product and your service providers have failed me repeatedly. Does Hisense understand what it means to hand-wash clothes for weeks despite owning what was supposed to be a convenient, high-end appliance? I need a clear and urgent response outlining the next steps toward a refund and reimbur*****t. At this point, anything less than a decisive resolution would be unacceptable. I await your immediate attention to this matter.
