Unacceptable Rusting of Hisense Dishwasher Racks – Health Concern

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of our Hisense dishwasher racks. The appliance is only three years old, yet the bottom rack has deteriorated to the point where a large hole has formed, making it impossible to load more than a few plates. I understand that minor rust may appear over time, especially around joints, but this level of severe rusting and structural failure is unacceptable for a dishwasher that is not old. The racks are clearly deteriorating rather than showing normal wear and tear. Rust inside a dishwasher is also a health concern, as it comes into direct contact with items used for food consumption. After doing some research, it is evident that many Hisense dishwasher customers have experienced the same issue, which suggests a broader quality problem rather than an isolated case. Being advised to replace both racks at significant cost when the dishwasher itself is still relatively new is unreasonable. This situation reflects poorly on the product’s durability and overall value. I expected better quality and longevity from a reputable brand like Hisense.
