Title: Unacceptable Customer Service - Hisense TV Screen Issue
Rating: 1/5
I'm extremely disappointed with the service I've received from Hisense regarding my TV screen issue. I purchased the TV in November last year, and recently, it developed a crack on the screen without any external damage. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to their customer service, I've been met with silence and unhelpful responses.
A technician visited my home, and after assessing the issue, they're now demanding R500 for a new screen, citing it as a repair cost. This is unacceptable, considering my TV is still under warranty. I have all the necessary documentation, including receipts and warranty slips, which I shared with the technician during the visit.
It's been three months since I first reported the issue, and the lack of assistance and communication from Hisense has been frustrating. I'm shocked that a company would treat its customers this way, especially when it's clearly a manufacturing defect.
I urge Hisense to take responsibility for their products and honor the warranty. I expect a prompt resolution to this issue, and I hope no one else has to go through the same that I'm going through.

Bad Review – Hisense / Makro Cape Gate
I bought a Hisense 40-inch TV from Makro Cape Gate in November last year, and to my disappointment, the TV has already developed a technical fault with a cracked screen. What frustrates me even more is that my neighbor, who bought the exact same TV at the same time, is facing the same issue.
I logged complaints with both Makro and Hisense, and a technician was eventually sent out. To my shock, I was told that repairing the TV would cost R5000 – which is almost the price of a new TV! Hisense claims the issue falls outside their warranty, but it’s clear this is a product defect since two TVs developed the same fault under the same circumstances.
This is unacceptable and shows poor customer service. Instead of taking accountability, both Makro and Hisense are passing the blame and leaving their customers stranded with faulty products.
All I am asking for is a fair resolution – either to have my TV repaired at no cost, replaced, or refunded. Right now, I am left with nothing but frustration and disappointment in both Hisense and Makro for not standing behind their products
