Terrible service on damaged phone

My Hisense U970 phone got a a small crack on the screen and as a result, the touch screen has stopped working, meaning the phone cannot be used.

I have now made numerous phone calls to Hisense service centres and have the following complaints:

- No-one has provided me with an explanation of why the touch screen has stopped working (compared to Samsung and Apple phones where the touch screen still works, even if cracked)

- Twice I have been told that I would be phoned back, and have never received those calls

- I have received different quotes on how much the phone would cost to fix so I cannot ascertain how much its going to cost me

- The screens are now out of stock and I have been told that Hisense can do nothing!

- Everyone I speak to seems to pass the buck and tell me that someone else will help me, but no-one ever does!

As a result of all this, I have been warning all my friends not to buy Hisense phones. Although the U970 was a great phone, there was no cover available in SA (so how was I supposed to protect the fragile screen in the first place!) and the service centre is absolutely useless at fixing anything.
